I'm a teacher, and in my classroom I teach kids to create, to dream big, and to never stop imagining. That same creative spark I ignite in my students Monday through Friday is what runs through me when it comes to fashion — my other passion, that quiet way of telling the world who you are before you say a single word.
I inherited that love for business and for fabric from my mother, who was a seamstress. Although she passed away when I was just 4 years old, I carry the memory of her hands moving with skill over fabric, and of a passion for her craft so deep that, without knowing it, she planted that same passion in me. That memory taught me, from a young age, that clothing isn't just fabric: it's identity, it's confidence, it's how we show up in the world every day.
That's why we're dedicated to bringing you the best quality fabrics and designs, always on top of what's trending, with every one of us and our different styles in mind.
I came to this beautiful country from Ecuador when I was just 7 years old, carrying that creativity with me.
That's why we created Gilu Designs from New Jersey: a space for women who, like me, believe in dressing with purpose. It's not about having more pieces in your closet — it's about having the right ones. The ones that make you feel confident, comfortable, and authentically you, whether you're headed to work, a meeting, or celebrating something special.

We accept exchanges within 7 days of delivery, as long as the item is unworn, with original tags attached, and in its original packaging. We do not offer money refunds, only exchanges for another item or size.
